Side effects from botulinum toxin treatments are infrequent and generally mild and temporarily. Treatment side effect can include bruising at the injection site. Some people may have a mild headache after injection.
The most common significant complication, which is rare, is drooping of the eyelids or eyebrows. This is temporary.
