Almost anyone with unwanted spider and varicose veins can be treated, except women who are pregnant or nursing. Other exceptions include those with skin infections, uncontrolled diabetes, fever, infections, history of deep vein thrombosis, anticoagulant therapy, and patients taking corticosteroids.
