You’ll need to purchase the compression stockings before your appointment as you will need to wear them immediately after your injections. You will be given guidance on this at your initial consultation. Bring loose fitting shorts to wear during the treatment and slacks to wear out of the office. Stop taking aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E and gingko biloba for 7 days before the procedure. If aspirin or other blood thinners are being prescribed for a heart condition or stroke prevention, speak to Dr. Yousuff or Dr. Sudy first before stopping this. Do not shave or moisturize 24 hours before the procedure.
