FemTouch™ is a non-surgical vaginal laser rejuvenation treatment that reduces and often eliminates the signs of vaginal atrophy, including dryness, sexual discomfort, itching, and burning, as well as stress urinary incontinence and laxity suffered by so many women after childbirth and menopause.

How FemTouch™ Vaginal Rejuvenation Works
FemTouch™ is a short, painless procedure that can address both the interior of the vagina as well as the external vaginal area in the same session. It works by inserting a lubricated, sterilized probe into the vagina, which applies a laser that will create a 360-degree pattern to the entire vaginal wall to address vaginal atrophy. This process increases blood supply and collagen to the vaginal mucosa, restoring integrity, elasticity, and the pH of the vaginal tissue.
While many menopause symptoms like hot flashes will pass in time, vaginal atrophy does not usually resolve on its own; its most common cause is a decrease in estrogen, which can even exacerbate damage that may have occurred because of pregnancy and childbirth. By restoring a healthy vaginal environment, many of the associated symptoms improve or simply simply disappear.

Is FemTouch™ Right for Me?
FemTouch™ is a low-risk procedure that is ideal for women who have vaginal atrophy symptoms, including women in various stages of menopause; women who lost elasticity, experience mild to moderate urinary incontinence and urinary urgency, either following childbirth or as result of another condition; and who experience pain, discomfort, or bleeding during intercourse.
When you come to Evolve for your consultation, we will review your medical history and speak with you about your symptoms to determine if FemTouch™ is the right treatment for you. Prior to treatment, we’ll ask you to provide a copy of your latest pap smear, and to disclose if you have a history of herpes or any other STIs.
Does FemTouch™ Hurt?
There is no pain associated with the FemTouch™ internal treatment, and no anesthesia is required. In the case of external treatment, we will provide a topical numbing cream to eliminate any discomfort.
Is There Downtime?
There is no downtime associated with FemTouch™, however, we do ask you to follow post-treatment guidelines to ensure your best results. This means that you should avoid sexual activity, douching, or tampon use during the first 72 hours after treatment. A comprehensive aftercare plan will be provided for you after your treatment, but most patients resume their normal daily activities immediately.
When Can I Expect Results?
Patients typically experience their best results in 2 to 4 treatments. In addition to reducing stress urinary incontinence urgency symptoms, patients have reported improvements in vaginal lubrication, decreased vaginal burning and reduction in pain with intercourse, increased sensation, better elasticity, and increased libido.
How Long Do the Results of FemTouch™ Last?
Results from FemTouch™ are not permanent but can last for up to a year. We recommend an annual follow-up FemTouch™ session to maintain the beneficial results of this treatment.
